Jet Airways konnect is launched by the India’s only premier class private airline service “Jet Airways”. Jet Airways has its market place in premier class and business class airline service in India, but more than 65% people travel in low cost airlines in India. Jet Airways Konnect launch was a step by Jet Airways to target 2tier cities customers and spread its pan India network. On 8th May 2009, Jet Airways konnect starts its operation from Kolkata. Initially Jet Airways moved few aircrafts to Jet Connect fleet and there were 60 daily flights for Jet Konnect. It was a huge success for Jet Airways and within one year, Jet Airways konnect is operating to almost all airports in India with more than 150 daily flights. Jet Airways konnect fare is 15% to 20% less than Jet Airway economy fares. Jet Airways has now moved most of its flights to Konnect and this helped Jet Airways to increase its traffic share to 30%.
